Last year's HORSE winner Sherkhan Farnood has taken a hit and dropped down to 20,000. He had two men all in with versus and on a flop, but the flopped flush held up and only the shortest stack departed.
Former WSOP Main Event Champ Huck Seed has doubled through, finding the American Airlines at just the right time. "I need a two," confessed Peter Gould when Seed pushed in the face of Gould's 8,000 bet on a board. "You need a two?" repeated Seed surprised.
Indeed, he wasn't lying, and with , Gould was left with two outs, neither of which arrived on the river. "I thought you had A-K," concluded the Brit.

Sami 'LarsLuzak' Kelopuro made a bold call for all (or most) of his chips after an opponent put him to the test with a massive river bet with the board showing .
After some serious deliberation, Kelopuro made the call, tabling for nothing but a pair of queens. His opponent wrapped the table, signifying Kelopuro's hand was good, as he tabled for a pair of fives.
Kelopuro climbed to just under 40,000 in chips with the win.

Back at the felt, and gsqwared has magically morphed into me for the rest of the evening's play. It's good to be here.
We're scheduled to play another four levels tonight, but we may well see an early finish if the field does a good job of self-decimation in the next couple of hours. Fingers crossed.
We have been treated to a star-studded post-dinner feature table that includes the likes of Ian Frazer, Annette Obrestad, and Sami Kelopuro and already we've witnessed fireworks. Within just a few hands, there was a raise to 1,200 from mid-position, a reraise to 4,200 from Sherkhan Farnood, followed by yet another raise to 14,200 from Hoyt Corkins, all seated consecutively. Atfer the initial raiser stepped out of the way - with what I am led to believe was double suited picture cards - Farnood announced all-in and Corkins called.

Two monstrous hands, but it was the cheeky 8-6 which saved this from being a chopped affair, Corkins making two pair on a board to scoop up a welcome pot.
Farnood, meanwhile, was left with an eggshell of rice, and departed moments later.
