Negreanu Scoops This One for Team America; Hansen Talks About His Load

Level 4 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Team Europe's Gus Hansen raised from the button to 8,000 and his was called by Daniel Negreanu in the big blind. The flop came down {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts} and both players checked. The turn was the {Q-Diamonds} and both checked again before the {J-Diamonds} completed the board. Negreanu bet 10,000 and Hansen folded.

After the hand, the two teams began talking about it a bit. Hansen mentioned, "I was going to shoot my load. All you had to do was wait one more time," to hint that if Negreanu checked once more, Hansen would have bet. "It wouldn't have been a big load, but I was going to shoot it if you checked."

No Tony G or Jake Cody

Level 6 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Both Tony G and Jake Cody had to leave the 2011 Caesars Cup because they are still in the World Series of Poker Europe Main Event, which you can follow along with here. If they finish anytime soon in that, they'll most likely return here, but we'll wish them the best and hopefully we don't see their faces up here.

Team Europe is down to just three players now, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Gus Hansen and Max Lykov.
