Weisner Takes Chip Lead

Melanie Weisner
Melanie Weisner

Melanie Weisner just shot herself up to the top of the leaderboard thanks to a river card that was very much in her favor. She and John O'Shea got all the money in on the turn with the board reading {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Spades}{4-Clubs}. O'Shea held the wheel with the {5-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and a heart redraw. Weisner held the {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for a set of tens.

The river smacked the felt with the {A-Spades} and gave Weisner the win with a full house. She had O'Shea covered and eliminated him to move to 600,000 in chips, which is currently good enough for the chip lead.
