Zukernik Busts Bouhnik to End Day 1D Early

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Philippe Bouhnik
Philippe Bouhnik

Thierry Delpui limped in from the small blind and Philippe Bouhnik moved all in for 91,000 from the big blind to reclaim his big blind ante and the limp of Delpui.

Soon after, still as shortest stack of the 11 remaining players, Bouhnik got it in preflop and was snap-called by Philipp Zukernik.

Philippe Bouhnik: {Q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Philipp Zukernik: {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}

The {9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop was of no help and Bouhnik was left drawing dead on the {2-Diamonds} turn, Zukernik improved to a set on the {A-Clubs} river for good measure to eliminate Bouhnik. Since the final 10 players have been reached, Day 1D ends with 19 minutes left in the level and that's good news for all short stacks that already made it to Day 2.

The final chip counts and a recap of today's action are to follow.
