Anatoly Filatov opened to 500,000 in middle position and Daniel Pidun shoved all in for 1,375,000 on his left. Jean-Noel Thorel also re-shoved all in for 12,115,000 and Filatov asked for a count before making the call.
The flop came and Filatov flopped a set to hold a commanding lead to rack up nearly half of the chips in the play. The on the turn was a brick but the on the river gave Thorel a straight. Thorel doubled up but Pidun was eliminated to bring an end to Day 2.
