Ismael Bojang

Ismael Bojang entered earlier in Event #2 during the dinner break of Event #1 and this is not a coincidence. Bojang is still in Event #1 with a pretty healthy stack of 1,250,000.

He has around ten more minutes before dinner break ends and he will try to build as a big stack as he can, in order to return to his seat in the last 46 players of Event #1.

For now he is doing a great job, having already doubled up his starting stack.

Hellmuth Ousted and Re-Entered

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Phil Hellmuth was in the big blind and he saw a raise from Philippe Mueller to 6,000 under the gun and a three-bet from Jeffrey Cormier to 25,200 from middle position. Hellmuth looked at his cards and shoved for 42,500 chips, with Mueller folding and Cormier calling.

Phil Hellmuth: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{6-Spades}
Jeffrey Cormier: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades}

The board came {q-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{10-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Cormier hit two pair to send Hellmuth to the cashier for his first re-entry of the day.

Hui on the Rise

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Phillip Hui didn't start very well when he was left short, but he managed to recover and now has over 100K chips.

In his last hand, he was on the button with the board showing {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades}{a-Clubs} and he was on the button against Leonid Yanovski on the big blind.

Hui bet 9,000 and Yanovski called only to muck when Hui opened {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{j-Clubs}{8-Hearts} for a straight.

Baker Doubles Up in 200K Pot

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Aliaksei Ivanou and David "ODB" Baker just had a big clash, which resulted in Baker catapulting to 200,000 chips. Ivanou raised preflop to 4,000 from the cutoff, Baker made it 13,800 and Ivanou reraised the pot to 43,800 chips. Baker went into the tank and after two minutes, he decided to call.

The flop came {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{3-Spades} and Ivanou immediately shoved the rest of his chips in the middle, around 40,000. Baker again went into the tank before calling.

Aliaksei Ivanou: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
David "ODB" Baker: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{4-Clubs}

Baker had a bigger pair and a higher flush draw, holding on to his lead after the {2-Clubs} on the turn and the {5-Hearts} on the river.
