Antunes Falls to Madani

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Lucy Antunes shipped all in for her last few chips from under the gun and the action folded around to Said Madani in the big blind who made the call.

Lucy Antunes: {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Said Madani: {a-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

Antunes had two live cards but was unable to connect on the jack-high board, leaving Madani's ace-high good enough to win the pot.

Calzoni Sends Martirosian to the Rail

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Artur Martirosian
Artur Martirosian

Matteo Calzoni opened to 12,000 in the cutoff and Artur Martirosian shipped all in for 137,500 in the small blind. The action was back on Calzoni who asked for a count before making the call.

Artur Martirosian: {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Matteo Calzoni: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

The flop came {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{3-Spades} to leave Calzoni in the lead with a pair of aces. The {3-Diamonds} on the turn gave Martirosian flush and straight draws to hit but the {5-Hearts} on the river was a brick.

Dogan Runs Out of Chips

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Andrea Radicchi raised it up and Azad Dogan pushed all in for his last 70,000 chips. Radicchi called to put Dogan at risk and had the better starting hand.

Azad Dogan: {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Andrea Radicchi: {a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}

The flop came {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Dogan was left drawing to just a straight draw. The {8-Spades} on the turn and the {10-Spades} on the river was not enough for Dogan who was eliminated before the money.

Petroni Hits Runner-Runner to Stay Alive

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Thomer Pidun opened to 12,000 from the hijack and Giovanni Petroni shoved all in for 58,000 in the cutoff. The action folded back to Pidun who made the call.

Giovanni Petroni: {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}
Thomer Pidun: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

The flop fell {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}{6-Spades} to give Pidun the best hand with a pair of queens. The {k-Spades} on the turn got Petroni out of his seat but the {10-Spades} on the river made him a flush as he quickly sat back down.

Big Stacks Keep Climbing

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Georgios Tsouloftas opened to 18,000 in the cutoff and Rachid El Yaacoubi called from the small blind. The flop came {10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and El Yaacoubi check-called a bet of 12,000 from Tsouloftas.

The turn brought the {5-Spades} and both players checked to the {3-Hearts} on the river. El Yaacoubi led out with a bet of 26,000 and Tsouloftas laid his hand down.

At another table, Alessandro Pichierri raised to 18,000 from under the gun and Matteo Calzoni defended from the big blind. The flop fell {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and Calzoni checked to Pichierri who continued for 16,000. Calzoni called and the {2-Clubs} landed on the turn.

Calzoni led out with a bet of 41,000 this time and Pichierri dumped his cards to the muck.

Zazian Doubles with Kings

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Daniel Schausberger and Alik Zazian got all of their chips in the middle preflop after just a couple of raises. It was Zazian at risk for 144,500 but he woke up with the goods.

Alik Zazian: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Daniel Schausberger: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

The flop came {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Zazian still held a strong lead with his pocket kings. The {4-Clubs} on the turn and the {j-Hearts} on the river changed nothing as Zazian held on for a big double up.

Boat Over Boat Cooler

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

A completed board of {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} was spread across the felt and Stefan Aerts led out with a bet of 35,000 from the small blind. Timo Kamphues raised to 155,000 and Aerts just quickly called, stating only two hands could beat him.

Kamphues turned over {a-Spades}{7-Spades} for a full house but it was no good as Aerts held {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} for a bigger full house.

"I just call because maybe you have aces or sevens," Aerts explained after the hand. "I don't want to be the bubble boy."
