Roland de Wolfe

Sun Jun 14 2009

Winner of Event 27 - $5,000 Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo 8-or-better

Roland de Wolfe clawed his way through one of the toughest final tables the WSOP has ever seen to claim his first World Series gold bracelet. Having already won titles on both the EPT and WPT, de Wolfe joined Gavin Griffin as poker's only "Triple Crown" winners. On winning the bracelet to go with his other triumphs, Roland called it, "The missing link," claiming he was much more nervous at this final table than at either of his other title wins.

Running as the sun was setting was fun. I need to do more of it. Interesting news too, 6 Kentucky congressmen support pushing UIGEA back.
