They are available both in the demo and real money modes, plus, you play against the dealer rather than other players.
How to Play Stud Poker 3D
No matter what variant of Stud Poker 3D you take, the rules will be similar.
First, you need to place your bet to join the game.
This bet is usually called ante, and it’s the only bet you need to place. You place more only if you want to continue playing after seeing your cards.
Then, you will get your cards.
A typical Stud game involves five-card hands, so for the sake of explaining, let’s say you get five cards. All facing up.
It’s the dealer who gets both up and down cards at this point.
If we take the same five-card Stud game, the dealer will get one card up and four hole cards (face down).
That’s when you make your next move.
You can raise (call) or fold (pass).
Raising means you feel good about your hand, and you’re willing to continue playing with a higher wager.
You’ll still have your ante and you’ll make another bet that’s twice the size of it.
For example, if your ante is $1, your raise bet is $2. In total, you wager $3 on this fictional round of Stud Poker 3D.
Don’t raise to pretend you feel good about your cards. Bluffing doesn’t work when you play against the House. The dealer bases their moves based on the predefined rules, not their personal judgment like the players would.
Folding means you aren’t willing to increase your wager. And if it’s a terrible hand, you’re most likely doing the right thing.
You lose your ante (the fictional $1), and you end the round.
Obviously, if you fold, there is no point in talking about what happens next. You lose your ante, and you can play again or leave the table and try your luck on Slot machines. Or whatever suits your gaming taste.
But if you do raise, don’t leave the table just yet.
The dealer gets the remaining four cards (or flips the hole cards face up) and you two compare your hands.
Your win depends on the dealer’s cards more than you think. It’s not only a comparison of who has a better hand. In order for you to win most, the dealer has to qualify - to have at least an Ace-King or better hand.

If you have ever tried to learn Blackjack basic strategy, you may hate the word “strategy” altogether.

You only need to remember one five-card hand - AxKxJx8x3x:
- If you a have a hand like that (or better) - raise. Every time

And let’s be honest, it makes all the sense in the world.
You would never win much with a hand lower than Ace-King because Ace-King is the dealer’s qualifying hand.
Sure, you can hope that the dealer won’t qualify. Then the even money on ante is yours no matter what.
But the dealer will qualify 56 percent of the time. So here goes your ante.
Just remember the AxKxJx8x3x hand, raise or fold accordingly, and you’ll be good.
