Jerome Solomon

Jerome Solomon is a versatile sports journalist, with experience in television, print and radio. He has won awards for investigative and feature writing, and as a columnist for the Houston Chronicle was honored by the Associated Press Sports Editors group as the No. 1 sports columnist in Texas and one of the Top 10 columnists in the country.

The native Texan has covered almost every major sporting event, including multiple Summer and Winter Olympic Games, Super Bowls, Final Fours, NBA playoffs, World Series, The Masters, U.S. Open, MLS Cup and a host of major college bowl games and national championships.

Jerome’s poker adventures began in home games in Houston, extended to underground poker rooms in Boston, where he covered the Patriots for the Boston Globe, and eventually to card rooms all over the country. Jerome is a cash game player who cashed in his first MTT, but is still chasing that first tournament win.
