PokerNews Launches Romanian Language Site

PokerNews Launches Romanian Language Site 0001

The roll out of new PokerNews language sites continues this month with the opening of Romanian PokerNews. The site further increases PokerNews' coverage in Europe.

Romania would not be the first country on many poker players lips if they were asked to name a country associated with the game. However, Romania is just as much a hotbed of poker action as many other larger European countries.

We are proud to present to all our Romanian speaking readers.

Taking charge of Romanian PokerNews is Monica Saavedra. Monica enthused, "I am very excited to see a great project like this realised. I hope that Romanian Poker News is going to reach all passionate poker players from Romania and also attract new players into the poker arena. Romanians will have access to a site that will give them all the resources and tools necessary to start or continue their trip into the poker world. Also, this site will certainly give more confidence to Romanians to interact with international players through the knowledge of rules, strategies, stories from other players and step by step guides for participating in online and in land poker rooms."

There is plenty on offer at Romanian PokerNews too! Monica continued, "The site will offer live updates and plenty of news. Due to the great expansion of poker all over the world, Romania already has a Romanian poker tour, but the number of participants is very low. Although there are no poker rooms in Romania some casinos have a table or two available. With such limited exposure, it is hard to create a strong poker community. Therefore I hope that Romanian PokerNews will be the spark which is needed to take Romanian poker to an international level."

To review our extension list of international PokerNews sites, move your mouse over the "Other language/location" menu in the top right hand area of the page.
