Dzmitry Urbanovich Joins Team Partypoker as Sponsored Pro
The stable of sponsored pros at partypoker continues to get stronger as the new partypoker LIVE circuit enjoys major success.
On Thursday, high-stakes poker player Dzmitry Urbanovich was added to the Team partypoker roster, joining Mike Sexton, Tony Dunst, Sam Trickett, Johnny Lodden and a host of other well-known poker player and personalities.
Urbanovich, who recently competed at the partypoker Million Sochi Main Event and the MILLIONS Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham, will make his first appearance as a partypoker pro at the partypoker Million North America event at the Playground Poker Club in Montreal.
"I can’t wait to join the partypoker team," Urbanovich said in a press release. "I have already played partypoker Million Sochi and MILLIONS and absolutely loved the events. There are so many great partypoker LIVE events that I’ll struggle to fit them all in. I am also planning my schedule for the online $20,000,000 Powerfest that starts on May 7, which I am sure will be a great success.”
Urbanovich exploded onto the live poker scene in 2015 when he won three tournaments at the EPT/IPT Malta festival, including the EPT €25,000 High Roller for €572,300. One month later he finished second in the €100,000 Super High Roller at the PokerStars and Monte-Carlo® Casino EPT Grand Final for €1,446,600.
In total, Urbanovich has accrued nearly $5.2 million in live tournament cashes since 2013. He is Poland's all-time tournament money leader, according to the Hendon Mob database.
