MSPT Poker Bowl V Starts Thursday at Venetian Las Vegas Prior to Super Bowl Weekend

MSPT Venetian Poker Bowl V

Are you ready for Super Bowl LV between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs? If you haven’t yet entered the OddsChecker US giveaway for a free $1,000 bet on the big game, there’s still time to do so simply by entering your email here.

While the NFL Championship is sure to be entertaining, there’s a mid-major poker tournament to get to beforehand. For the fifth year in a row, the Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT) and The Venetian in Las Vegas are joining forces to offer a tournament over NFL Super Bowl Weekend.

The $1,100 buy-in Poker Bowl V will feature a $350,000 guarantee and offer two starting flights. Day 1a will take place at 11:10 a.m. local time on Thursday, February 4, while Day 1b will take place at the same time on Friday, February 5. The surviving players from both flights will then return for Day 2 at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6, and play down to a winner.

That ensures players will be free on Sunday so they can enjoy Super Bowl LV, which is being held on February 7 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay.

The entirety of the tournament, which will feature 40-minute levels and start players with 25,000 in chips, will be live reported by PokerNews.

On Wednesday, February 3 there will be a $200 buy-in Mega Satellite for the MSPT at 10:10 a.m. (late reg will remain open until 12:25 p.m.). Two seats are guaranteed. Players will start with 10,000 in chips and play 20-minute levels).
