Kei Tanaka is a Japanese actor who plays poker recreationally.
The Japanese actor entered the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas and finished in third place for $115,295 in Event #100: $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em Super Turbo on the final day of the series.
Tanaka nearly won the gold bracelet in a field of 1,935 players. The deep run at the WSOP was just his third live tournament cash at the time, and first at the WSOP since 2006. He also had a $40,120 score for taking 83rd place in the 2022 $5,000 WSOP Online Main Event on the GGPoker site.
