Kenneth Kim is an American poker player from California, best known for winning Event #10: $600 No-Limit Hold'em Deepstack at the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) for $318,842 and his first WSOP bracelet.
Kim's recorded live cashes date back to April 2009, although it took him until June 2017 to win a five-figure prize. He finished fifth in a $150 buy-in event in Los Angeles and banked $12,400. In September 2019, Kim won $25,200 for a sixth-place finish in a $350 No-Limit Hold'em event in Los Angeles, a new career-high.
He blew that sum out of the water, and by some distance, after winning the $280 NLHE Mega Millions XXVI event at Bell Gardens for a cool $351,900. Less than two months later, Kim finished 79th in the 2024 WSOP Main Event for another $120,000.
Armed with a larger bankroll and confidence from his deep runs, Kim began regularly cashing for five figures in Las Vegas and Los Angeles-based tournaments.
At the 2025 WSOP, Kim busted from the $1,000 Mystery Millions and jumped into the $600 No-Limit Hold'em Deepstack event, knowing he was due to leave Las Vegas in a couple of days. Two days later, Kim was the last player standing, earning him $318,842 in prize money and his first gold bracelet.
