Mitchell Hynam is a British poker player who had a summer to remember at the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas. Hynam captured his first bracelet after winning the $1,000 Super Turbo.
According to The Hendon Mob Database, Hynam has cashes dating back to September 2019. Over the next couple of years, you can clearly see Hynam's progress from low-stakes player to mid-stakes grinder. However, he is now much more than that.
After a sprinkling of five-figure scores throughout 2022, including a £24,995 haul for a fourth-place finish in the £1,250 GUKPT London Main Event, Hynam took his game to the next level. He cashed for $40,000 in the 2023 WSOP Main Event and five-figure prizes became the norm.
Hynam won the €700 Irish Poker Tour Galway Main Event for €83,600 in January 2025 and finished fourth in the $3,500 World Poker Tour Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown in April for $285,000.
At the 2025 WSOP, Hynam cashed in the $25,000 No-Limit Hold'em High Roller for $73,639, finished 49th in the $10,000 Main Event for $200,000, and triumphed in the final event of the series, the $1,000 Super Turbo for $237,924 and his first gold bracelet.
