Nelson Mari Sanchez is a Mexican poker player known for winning the $777 Lucky 7's event at the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) for $777,777 and his first bracelet.
Prior to his bracelet win, Sanchez only had four recorded live cashes on his Hendon Mob profile. Three came at the 2024 WSOP, with the largest being for $6,006.
Sanchez topped a field of 8,012 entrants in the $777 No-Limit Hold'em Lucky 7's event at the 2025 WSOP, and took home $777,777 and a gold bracelet.
"This is a huge change for my bankroll. I’m not sure what’s next, but I know I’ll be back to defend this title next year," he told PokerNews in a winner's interview.
