René-Charles Angelil is a Canadian poker player and the son of legendary singer Celine Dion and producer René Angelil.
Angelil's father is also an avid poker player who frequented Bobby's Room inside Bellagio to play high-stakes games while Dion performed at nearby Caesars Palace.
The younger Angelil began playing poker when he was just five years old, and learned the game from his father. He has mostly been a cash game player, but he has entered the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event three times, cashing in 2025.
Angelil, in a July 2025 interview with PokerNews, said his celebrity mother isn't into poker, but "she appreciates the strategic part of the game."
