Waka Flocka Flame is an American rapper from Atlanta, Georgia.
Waka Flocka Flame is best known for his 2010 hit "Hard in da Paint" which ushered in the trap era of hip-hop.
The rapper played in a Celebrity Poker Tour (CPT) event in February 2025 and spoke to PokerNews about his relationship with Murder Inc. Records founder Irv Gotti, a legendary hip-hop figure who was found dead from a stroke suffered during a poker game.
"Irv Gotti and Murder Inc., that's literally down the street from my grandma's house," he told PokerNews in an interview. "When I used to take my grandmother's clothes to the cleaners, I passed where Murder Inc. basically started at."
