What is FanDuel Predicts?
FanDuel Predicts is a real-money event-contract platform launched by FanDuel in partnership with CME Group, one of the world’s largest and most respected derivatives marketplaces. Launched in December 2025, the platform allows users to trade on binary outcomes, i.e. “Will X happen? Yes or No.”
Unlike traditional sports betting you would find on the FanDuel Sportsbook, these markets are built around measurable, time-bound events, spanning financial benchmarks, economic indicators, commodities and (in certain states) major sports outcomes
The goal is to correctly predict the results of events. If you make a correct prediction, your trade will pay out when the real-world event is resolved.
FanDuel Predicts operates a peer-to-peer matching system. When you place an order, you are buying and selling alongside other market participants.
Each market has two options, Yes or No: If you buy a Yes position, you’re predicting the result will happen, and if you buy a No position, you’re predicting that it won't.
Users are required to complete full KYC verification, including identity and address checks, before trading.
By combining FanDuel’s consumer footprint with CME Group’s regulatory expertise and market infrastructure,
FanDuel Predicts aims to bring an unprecedented level of transparency, legitimacy and stability rarely seen in the prediction-market space.

Mentions
FanDuel Predicts mirrors similar prediction market platforms such as Kalshi and Polymarket when it comes to the markets you can trade. Sports is perhaps the most relevant market, given what we mentioned earlier about FanDuel offering a sports wagering alternative. However, unlike sports wagering, trading sports prediction markets naturally doesn't give you as many options, with just the standard binary (yes/no) options available.
Financials and Companies are two additional markets available on
FanDuel Predicts. These let you delve into the business world and trade yes/no contracts on things like company earnings reports, stock prices and currencies.
Politics and World Affairs are never far from our screens, with the geopolitical climate as tumultuous as ever. So naturally, they're some of
FanDuel Predicts' most popular markets. From the latest Trump exploits to who the next Pope will be, there are so many different options from events happening domestically and throughout the world when trading these markets.
Donald Trump is featured in several Politics prediction markets
If you fancy something a little more scientific, Climate and Tech and Science markets can give you that. These offer you the chance to trade yes/no contracts on outcomes such as hottest temperatures, natural disasters and space exploration.
The final market on our list is Mentions and it's a fun one! Many prediction platforms, including
FanDuel Predicts offers Mentions markets where you can trade contracts predicting what notable figures will say during a speech or specific time period. For instance, you can wager on how many times the White House Speaker will say the word 'President' during the next press briefing. Those mundane, formal speeches are about to get a lot more exciting!
FanDuel Predicts has now launched as an app-only platform, delivering a slick, mobile-first user experience designed to make prediction markets intuitive and accessible. The interface is clean and minimal, with swipeable markets, clear yes/no choices, and real-time price updates that feel closer to a sports betting app than a financial exchange.
Market rules are easy to find and understand, onboarding is fast, and trading is streamlined to require just a few taps, making it ideal for casual users and newcomers. The app also emphasizes transparency around pricing and resolution criteria, giving users confidence in how outcomes are determined.
Backed by FanDuel’s brand and product design expertise, Predicts feels polished and purpose-built for mobile engagement, positioning itself as one of the most user-friendly real-money forecasting app currently available in the U.S. market.

Is FanDuel Predicts Safe & Legit?
Yes, FanDuel Predicts is very safe and legitimate. The product has been developed by FanDuel - one of the most established names in the US online gaming industry - in partnership with CME Group, a major global derivatives exchange. That combination alone gives the platform a level of institutional backing and operational oversight that most prediction-market startups simply do not have.
The app has the same high-level security, KYC, and responsible-play standards used across other FanDuel products. Users must undergo full identity verification, there are clear market rules and the platform uses a regulated, dollar-settled contract structure designed to operate within US law. FanDuel has also included strong consumer-protection tools for Predicts from day one.
Overall,
FanDuel Predicts is safe, reputable and well-structured. If you're looking for a legitimate prediction markets platform, this is certainly one of your best choices.
FanDuel Predicts is one of the most ambitious and credible predication-market projects we've seen. The combination of the FanDuel brand and the CME Group's market infrastructure gives FanDuel Predicts a level of legitimacy and scale that sets it out above competitors.
Everything from the software to the markets available make it easy for even those new to prediction trading to get involved and wager money on real-world events.
Prediction markets involve risk and are not suitable for everyone. While many platforms offer tools to make informed trades, outcomes are never guaranteed, and users should never risk more than they can afford to lose. Always trade responsibly. Additionally, platform availability and legal status vary by region.
