A raising war before the flop broke out between Michael Teplitski and Ioannis Vogiatzoglou and the latter ended up five-bet shoving only for Teplitski to snap call.

Marius Pertea, a businessman from Romania, has been enjoying quite some success at the poker tables in the last few months. At this very venue back in November 2017, Pertea won the Unibet Open Main Event for €90,925 and then finished 8th in the WPT European Championship at Berlin in January 2018. Pertea came close to more glory at the Unibet Open and finished 24th in London just an few days ago before heading back to home soil for the 888poker Live Bucharest Main Event.
Pertea sat down at the same table as Ozgur Arda and Catalin Pop, while Danut Chisu re-entered one table over.
On the turn of a board , Stefan Bucur checked and called a bet of 3,400 by Boaz Kolenbrener before the on the river was checked by both players. Kolenbrener tabled for a pair of fours only and Bucur had that beat with for a flush with the eight.
At the very end of the third level a big pot was brewing over on table three and 888poker ambassador Vivian Saliba was involved in the action. On the heads-up turn of , Alexandru Cristian Bobu checked and subsequently check-raised from 7,000 to 17,000 and Saliba called on the button.
The river completed the board and Bobu checked once more, Saliba moved all in and the Romanian called. Saliba turned over for the nut flush and Bobu sent his cards into the muck.
Federico Petruzzelli, Pasquale Grimaldi and Silviu Baltateanu are among the new faces in the field. Grimaldi was eliminated on Day 2 of the €230 Opening Event and jumped right into the action of the €888 Main Event.
With the turn reading , Gheorghe Akos Burlacu in the under-the-gun position and Ionut Catalin Mihart in the small blind both invested 3,400 each to see the river complete the board. Mihart immediately moved all in and Burlacu was sent into the think tank. He elected to use one time bank extension to get an additional 60 seconds to consider his options with some 10,750 chips behind, and ultimately sent his cards into the muck.
At the same time one table over, Florin Pandilica took a seat with a fresh stack of 30,000.
On the river of a completed board of , Dan Petrea bet 2,200 and was called by Razvan Constantin Gherghe. Nicolae Toma raised it up to 16,000 and that forced two quick folds.
One hand later, Gherghe raised it up to 1,400 and was called four ways. The flop fell and Gherghe bet 5,000 with some 6,000 behind. That was enough to force folds all around and Gherghe more than made up for the chips he had just lost.
Ion Silviu Scobai bet the turn and called the shove of table neighbor Cosmin Cimpeanu in a heart beat. Cimpeanu turned over for a full house, but the two outer to improve his hand was in fact the worst card in the deck as Scobai had flopped a full house with .
Only the case four could save Cimpeanu, yet a blank river was of no help.
