Mark Valentine was on the tournament floor and provided the details of his elimination. The Brit, usually at work for Main Event Travel, mentioned that he had raised to 5,500 in the small blind and Pavel Voytenko jammed out of the big blind. Valentine called with queens and Voytenko turned over eights.
Valentine had diamonds covered as the flop provided three of them, but an off suit eight on the turn gave Voytenko a set of eights and the Valentine bricked the river.
