Big Field Expected for Day 1c of the 2020 888poker LIVE Madrid Main Event
With an ambitious guaranteed prize pool of €800,000, the first-ever 888poker LIVE Madrid festival set the bar of expectations very high and the first two starting days have already attracted a field of 446 entries at the Casino Gran Via. With the weekend now coming around, the staff is attracting the biggest starting day of the €888 Main Event thus far in the first major live poker tournament of the casino.
It is the last chance for all those that wish to take advantage of the regular structure of 11 levels of 50 minutes each as of 5 p.m. local time, as the fourth and final flight as of noon the following day will be played in a turbo format prior to the restart of Day 2 as of 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 2nd, 2020. All Day 1 survivors will then return to their seats and the late registration and re-entry period will conclude after the first two levels and following break on Day 2.
On top of the massive guarantee, the flagship event of the festival also comes with an additional incentive as the winner can look forward to a trip to Las Vegas thanks to the $12,500 package for the 2020 WSOP Main Event courtesy of event sponsor.
The tournament comes with a popular deep stack in Spain, as all participants receive 88,000 in chips, and unlimited re-entries can be purchased. Furthermore, players can participate in as many Day 1s as they wish to then pick the stack they wish to bring forward to Day 2. It will also be possible to surrender the stack at the end of the registration period and re-enter with a full stack.
