Scott Berko won a bigger pot to boost his stack and the same table then featured two multi-way pots that saw Alfonse Karam chip back up above the starting stack.
Five ways to the flop, Karam was one of three players to call a bet of 1,500 and did so again on the turn for 1,500 along with one further player. The came on the river and the action checked to Karam, who bet 15,000. He picked up one caller and tabled the for two pair to win the pot.
That moved him back up to more than 60,000 but there was more to come. He three-bet to 2,800 preflop and three players stuck around to the flop, which went check, check. On the turn, another 3,600 went in by three players including Karam and he then faced a bet of 5,400 and a call on the river. Karam moved all-in and forced two folds.

All three tournament areas in the Casino Gran Via are in use with up to 280 players registered and as such, the tables get balanced more frequently. Leon Louis can order a drink quite easily as he sits next to one of the bars and one seat over from Ran Shahar.
It was Shahar that just scooped a pot after he raised a bet of 5,200 on the flop to 15,000 and forced a fold.
"I folded ace-seven," the player in the two seat remarked, to which Shahar replied: "She made a big raise in the blinds, you gotta respect that."

Diaz Garzon called and Kassitzky check-called a bet of 8,000 by the Spaniard on the river with a big sigh. Diaz Garzon tabled for trips and Kassitzky mucked .
Another player to lose a chunk of his stack is Michael Larkin. Already down a lot since the last update, Larkin squeezed to 2,600 and called a reraise to 8,200. There was no betting action on the flop and turn, Larkin then folded the river when facing a bet worth 6,500.
