Kimmo Kurko claimed the blinds and big blind ante with a raise from early position to 160,000 and Sandro Hauser then did the same with the , as Kurko had to forfeit some of his profit.

Gerard Carbo then raised to 600,000 on the button with 635,000 behind and Kurko pushed in the small blind for Carbo to call as he had half of the stack invested already.
