Quads For Corzo

Rodrigo Corzo's short stack was already all in on the K♠6♥9♠ flop as action continued between Ian Simpson and Jose Jaraiz.

Simpson, now on his sixth bullet of the tournament, fired 6,500 from the cutoff and was called by Jaraiz on the button. Both players checked the 9♥ turn before Simpson led out for 12,000 on the 3♣ river.

Jaraiz folded, leaving Corzo and Simpson to reveal their holdings.

After an under the gun open to 3,500 and a call from the hijack, Jiaze Li moved all in from the big blind for 50,600. That was met by an immediate all in and call to his left, leaving the action three-handed.

Li happily flipped over his A♣A♦, while his opponents showed A♠K♦ and 5♠5♦. The runout of 9♥3♥7♦6♥2♦ was clean for Li's pocket aces to score the triple up.

Canton Cracks Aces

Earlier in the night, David Canton called an all in with pocket kings and was up against aces. In that hand, the aces held to leave Canton with under 20,000 chips.

Almost three hours later, Canton clashed with the same opponent and covered an all in again. Improbably, Canton held K♠K♦ and was up against A♠A♥.

This time, the 9♦Q♦J♦Q♦4♠ runout left Canton with a flush, cracking the aces while scoring the knockout.
