After more than 11 hours of play, Event #36 - $2,100 XL Inferno High Roller finally crowned a winner. Anton "anteen" Bertilsson from claimed the victory and the first prize of after beating "Kannwas" in the deciding heads-up.

This event, with a buy-in of $2,100, saw 222 players register and those players made 64 rebuys to get a total amount of 286 players. They created a total prize pool of $572,000 with 36 places paid. It took a while to get to the money but in the end, "GramNaKartke" was the last player finishing empty-handed. He lost a huge pot with king-queen against pocket aces, with lots of short stacks still in the tournament.

After the players reached the money, it went pretty quickly to a final table. On the bubble of the final table, there was a huge 3-way all-in where "Kannwas" busted "morewater" and "sweetness158" with his pocket nines against ace-king and pocket sevens. Just eight players went to the final table, where "cocadas" and "peterpan_33." busted within ten minutes.

When play reached the final six, players looking scared to bust and it took a while before another player was sent to the rail. After quite some time, it was "grandepike" who lost all of his chips with ace-six against the king-queen of "anteen". Short after, "Sr.Penes" (fifth, $33,176) and "diosmono69" (fourth, $48,620) busted to get the tournament three-handed.

Only a few hands later, they could start the heads-up after "R1valdo10" lost a crucial coin flip with ace-king against the pocket jacks of Bertilsson. The Swedish started the battle for victory against "Kannwas" with a 2:1-advantage, but his opponent got back to even stacks pretty quickly.

"Kannwas" dominated for an hour but in the end, the Swedish took back control. He doubled with top pair against a straight draw and finished the job with pocket nines against ten-seven to secure himself of the first prize of $116,974.
