"khalifaa00" Leads Way into Day 3 with Almost 1.9 Million

Day 2 of Event #3 of the 2022 888Poker Millions Superstorm was a torrid affair, playing out in just over three hours. The day started with 147 players returning from one of the Day 1 flights, and after a few hours of play, the field is down to just nine players left out of the original Day 1 field of 973 entries.

That still leaves the majority of the $250,000 guaranteed prize pool up for grabs, with more than $160,000 still to be won on the final table. There is $45,250 up top for the winner, but everyone returning for the final table is guaranteed at least $3,200 now.

The player with the best chance at the big prize right now is Brazil's "khalifaa00", who brings 1,873,510. "oldfandango" from the United Kingdom isn't far behind with 1,794,425 and there are four players returning with 1 million to 1.4 million.

Level 33, Blinds: 17,500/35,000 (4,375)

Day 2 is over now after a cooler sent "dogidog888" to the rail. "dogidog888" shoved 218,453 early, but "KelevraJesus" reshoved more than a million from the small blind to get them heads up.

"dogidog888": {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
"KelevraJesus": {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

The board of {10-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} didn't hit either player, so the kings held and the final table was set.
