Brendon Ng opened the pot with a bet, before Pravin Harji moved all in from the small blind, for an additional 106,000 in chips. Ng tanked for a minute before calling, and both players tabled their cards.

We arrived at the table with the board showing . Monica Eastick was first to act, and checked. Emile Gissaud then bet out 47,000, before he was faced with a quick re-raise to 125,000 from Eastick. He called, and both players saw the fall on the turn.
Eastick almost beat the turn card to the felt, announcing all in. Gissaud sat back, and lifted the cards up off the table, starring at them. He then slammed them back on the table, triggering Eastick to show her . She had thought that Gissaud had folded, and when she realised he hadn’t, quickly retrieved the card, and turned it over.
Gissaud then went into the tank for what seemed like an eternity. He eventually folded, tabling the . We’re sure that Gissaud saw Eastick’s card, but now we can’t be to certain. Either way, Eastick increases her chip-stack as she progressos towards the final table.
A short-stacked Michael Guzzardi was just eliminated from the tournament. He went all in from early position and was called by Cole Swannack in the cut-off.

The board ran out , and although Guzzardi had a couple of outs on the turn, the river would not help, as he was eliminated in 17th place, collecting NZ$5,175.
Jamie Mulligan waited until everyone before him had folded, before committing his remaining 112,000-chips into the middle. Angie Fitzgerald in the small blind snap-called, and the cards were shown.

Though Fitzgerald was in front, she still called for a queen, before the dealer spread out the board, showing . Mulligan was able to flop an ace, and hold, as he moves up to 240,000 in chips. Fitzgerald is down to 40,000 in chips.
Action was on Andre Nunes-Carreira, who moved all in for 98,000. He was called by Angie Fitzgerald, who had considerably less, as she looked to find a double-up.

The board ran out to see Fitzgerald’s luck finally run out as she was eliminated from the tournament. With that, Monica Eastick is the only female remaining in the field.

The board was spread out with the flop and turn showing . Martin, the tournament director, announced that only a ten would save Brendon, just as the dealer dropped the on the river. A lucky card for Ng who survives another close call.
Action started with Patrick Healy opening with a bet of 22,000. He found two callers in Slav Sheynin and Jamie Mulligan, who all saw the flop come out . Healy didn’t slow down, as he put in a continuation bet of 55,000. Only Sheynin called to see the turn come the . Instantly, Healy bet out 90,000, and after a minute, Sheynin called. The river came the , and Healy slowed right down. He waited for a minute before checking, before Sheynin decided to move all in for his last 185,000 in chips. Healy conceded defeat, and layed down his hand.
