Sam Capra has survived well here today as the short stack, but his fortune has come to an end at the hands of Michael "TheBigSiCkO" Guzzardi.
Marlon Goonawardana opened with a raise to 23,000 from late position before Capra moved all in from the cutoff for 65,000. Guzzardi then shoved all in over the top from the button and the table folded around.

Capra was in good shape to double but the board fell to give Guzzardi a set on the turn to grab the pot. Capra finishes in 34th place for AU$9,800 in prize money. Guzzardi is now up to 215,000.
With blinds at 4,000 and 8,000, pots are getting pretty big. Ray Sukkar opened the hand for 22,000 and was popped by Phil Willcocks to 56,000. Sukkar made the call, creating a preflop pot of more than 100,000 chips
The flop came down all babies, . Sukkar checked it over to Willcocks, who fired out a healthy 70,000 chips. Sukkar went into the tank, re-checked his cards, and then moved all in. That induced a fold from Willcocks, who dropped to 270,000 chips as a result of the hand. Sukkar is up to 430,000.
On an adjacent table, Daniel Kowalski opened a pot to 27,000 and was raised by Tom Rafferty out of the small blind to 64,000. Kowalski made the call there, then called another bet of 75,000 chips on the flop. With 275,000 chips in the pot heading into the turn, Rafferty moved all in for 200,000. That folded Kowalski.
The board of was checked to the river and it appeared to be a fairly innocent pot. That is, until Wang Che Jung open shoved for all of his 450,000 chips! More incredibly, Michael Guzzardi made the call!
Jung sheepishly revealed for a complete airball as Guzzardi's was good to take down the pot and double up!
Guzzardi doubles to 450,000 with Jung falling to 205,000.
Phil Willcocks raised to 20,000 from early position before Roel Pijpers moved all in from the cutoff for 74,000. Willcocks made the call.

Pijpers:
The board fell to miss Pijpers and end his tournament in equal 32nd place as he was eliminated at the same time as Anthony Rafter. He'll collect AU$11,200 for his efforts.
Anthony Rafter was the aggressor preflop, raising to 25,000. He was the aggressor on the flop, betting 30,000. And he was the aggressor on the turn, moving all in for 108,000. Antonio Fazzolari called Rafter each time, tabling a huge draw with . Rafter had top pair with and had to sweat the river. He couldn't duck it when it fell to make two pair for Fazzolari, who climbed to 550,000 as a result of this elimination.
Just prior to the redraw Wang Che Jung was eliminated in 31st place. We don't have the exact details of the action but we believe it was pocket eights against an opponent's pocket nines that saw his demise.
Jung was one of our early chip leaders and leaves the tournament with AU$12,600 in prize money.
The clock has been paused with 7:39 left in this level, as the players are now going to redraw for the final four tables. The purple 500-denomination chips are also being colored up.
