Ivan Tan was under the gun and debating his preflop action when the player on his left made a minimum raise to 1,200. Tan was unsure what would happen if he called or raised and summoned Commissioner Danny McDonagh to the table.
"If you call, he calls," McDonagh told Tan. "If you raise, he gets all is options back." Tan was satisfied with that answer and put 1,200 chips into the pot. His opponent's raise stood, and was then called by Kris Cunz on the button and Young Phan from the big blind.

Kris Cunz was riding high earlier in the day after doubling through Young Phan. Things haven't progressed as well since, with Cunz dropping to about 16,000 in chips. He may have felt he was in a good spot to make a move after one player opened to 1,200 and was called. Cunz, sitting with the button, re-raised al in for 14,925. That re-raise knocked out everyone back to the initial raiser.

Cunz knocked the table. "Good call," he said. But it was a flip situation, the best thing Cunz could have hoped for after e was called. He won that flip on a board of . He's back in contention with a stack of about 34,000.
Darkhan Botabayev entered the pot with a raise to 1,550 only to have Chris Moneymaker bump it to 4,000.
Botabayev made the call before checking the flop to see Moneymaker continue with a 4,500-chip bet. Botabayev made the call before checking the on the turn.
Moneymaker mulled over a decision for a little before tossing in a bet of 11,000 with Botabayev check-calling.
The river landed the and Botabayev took a different approach - this time opting to lead for 7,000.
Moneymaker was having none of it however as he cut down a raise and slid in a stack of chips amounting to a bet of 24,000.
"I know I'm losing, but I have to call" stated Botabayev as he made the call.
"You got me . . . Ace-high" sighed Moneymaker as Botabayev tabled his for a flopped set.
As Botabayev began raking in the pot to see him soar to 96,000, Moneymaker looked down at his dwindled 20,000-chip stack and commented, "I play so bad at times!"
On one of the first hands after play resumed after the break, the tournament lost Team PokerStars Pro Chris Moneymaker.
Tablemate Van Marcus informed us that Darkhan Botabayev opened to 2,400 from the cutoff and Moneymaker moved all in for his last 12,000 in chips.
Botabayev made the call holding Queens to Moneymaker's , and when the board ran out , Moneymaker hit the rail as Botabayev climbed to over 117,000 in chips.
