All the action on Day 2 is set to begin at 12:30 PM local time and the plan at this point is to play around six or seven 75-minute levels. Join us soon!
Level: 8
Blinds: 400/800
Ante: 100
The players are primed to go and the cards are in the air! After standard one-hour levels yesterday, today's action will move to 75-minute levels. It isn't clear how many levels will be played today, but if we were the betting kind, we would put money on more than seven levels.
Many short stacks started today, and many of them will try to make something happen in the first orbit. Both Ryan Hong and Didier Guerin tried doing this, but only the latter succeeded.
Hong shoved all in pre flop, and Guerin called all in for just a little bit less.

Julian Powell has taken a small hit to his stack early, with the hand playing out like so. Folded to the player int he cutoff, he would raise it up to 2,100. Powell called on the button and the blinds got out of the way.
On the flop, the cut-off player checked and Powell bet 3,100. Back on Powell's opponent and he would quickly check-raise to 8,000. Powell didn't take long to get rid of his hand as he now sits with around 35,000.

Tom Grigg started the day with plenty of chips, but has since seen his stack skyrocket into the six-figure area. We recently watched Grigg bet 17,700 on the river against one opponent on a board. There was well over 20,000 in the pot at this point and his opponent paid him off. Grigg turned over at showdown, prompting his opponent to muck his hand.
"Good turn card," said Grigg as he raked in the pot.
