Boxell Battling After Big Turn Fold

The defending champion Leo Boxell is now one of the shorter stacks in the room as we approach the money bubble. We recently arrived at his table to find a {5-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} board on the felt and with Boxell in the tank with a decision for the rest of his chips. According to the table, this is how the action played out.

Sam Razavi opened to 12,000 from the cutoff and Boxell called out of the big blind. Ont he flop, Boxell checked and Razavi put in a continuation bet. Boxell then check-raised and Razavi called. On the turn, Boxell lead with a bet and Razavi shoved, having Boxell well covered.

Boxell tanked for a long, long time, eventually opting to fold, showing the {q-Diamonds} as he did so. Razavi raked in his new chips, turning over {4-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for an open-ended straight draw as he did so.

Big One For Lunardi

Kristian Lunardi had raised pre flop and Mishel Anunu made the call from the big blind. The flop brought {10-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and Anunu check-called 13,000.

The turn was the {8-Hearts}, and Anunu check-called 27,000. On the river the {10-Spades} hit and Anunu check-called 50,000. Lunardi turned over {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}, for the nut flush. He's up to 300,000 while Anunu is getting really short.

Ismail Hurts Ilir

Ismail Ismail has just doubled up against Ilir Beluli, leaving Beluli with an extreme short stack. The hand in question saw Ismail all in holding {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} against Beluli's {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}. The board was full of bricks and with that Beluli was left with just 10,000. Beluli double up the very next hand out of the big blind, but is still in desperate need of some help.
