The board read and there was roughly 7,000 already in the middle. Chane Kampanatsanyakakorn was heads up with an opponent and Kampanatsanyakakorn's opponent fired out a bet of 3,600.
Kampanatsanyakakorn announced a call and his opponent showed for eights and sixes. Kampanatsanyakakorn, however, rolled over for eights and sixes with a king kicker and he was able to take down the pot. He's now in possession of about 60,000 in chips.
With the board reading with about 9,000 in the pot, Ted Wang tanked for about two minutes after his opponent shoved for 8,375. Eventually, Wang called with . However, his opponent was ahead with and held up through the river.
Just before the break, Andrew Moreno raised to 750 in the hijack and found calls from the players in the cutoff and on the button.
The flop came down and Moreno continued for 1,225. The player in the cutoff called before the player on the button popped it to 3,500. After a few moments, Moreno raised to about 14,000 effective. The player in the cutoff folded, the player on the button called all in, and the hands were revealed.

Moreno's double gutter and overcard didn't get there as the turn and river secured the pot for his opponent, knocking Moreno down to about 7,000.
Picking up the action on a board, Michael Mariakis bet 2,800. After a call from an unknown player, Peter Manley raised all in with a covering stack. Mariakis called all in for about 10,000, the mystery player folded, and the hands were revealed.

Arnett has been short stacked for most of the day and after two hours of grinding, she finally got all of her chips in the middle. The small blind opened with a raise and Arnett, in the big blind, decided to go with it.

The flop brought pairing Arnett's opponent but giving her hope with an open-ended straight draw. Unfortunately for Arnett, she bricked out on the subsequent streets and was eliminated from play.
Team PokerStars pro Celina Lin has been eliminated from play. We missed the action but she was kind enough to recap the hand for us.
Lin got all of her stack in on a board. Lin held for middle set and thought she was sitting pretty. Unfortunately, she ran into a super cooler as her opponent held for the only hand to beat her at the moment.
Lin failed to improve on the turn and river and she was forced to see an exit halfway through the first day of play.
