Lee Crushed By Yu

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

The action started with Daniel Lee raising to 17,000 from middle position. He was called by Weijie Ye in the hijack as well as Ronald Chun Long Yu on the button and Weiyi Xhang on the big blind.

The flop came down {7-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Clubs} and the decision fell back on Lee who threw out a continuation bet totalling 19,000. Only Yu came along for the ride before the {k-Spades} dropped on the turn.

Lee thought about his decision for a moment before betting out 77,000 in chips. Yu then went into the tank for a minute before announcing all in for a total of 214,000 in chips. Lee took a few minutes to decide his next move, before finally making the call.

Yu jumped out of his chair in excitement, as he turned over his {2-Hearts}{2-Spades} for a set, knowing it was good. Lee reluctantly turned over his {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} accepting he had already lost the hand.

The meaningless {8-Spades} completed the board and the large pot was then pushed over to Yu. He now has 545,000 in chips. Lee drops down to 85,000.

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Heyu Li
Heyu Li

Heyu Li started the action with a raise to 17,000 and was called three ways to see a flop of {3-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}. Everyone checked and the initial raiser bet 55,000 from under the gun. Shen Ming Yin called while Ke Jing Li then raised to 168,000 from the button. The player in the big blind folded and Heyu Li called all in for 158,000 with Ying folding.

Heyu: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}
Ke Jing: {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

The {5-Spades} on the river gave Ke Jing the pot and fellow Chinese Heyu Li, who holds the same and very common last name, hit the rail in 26th place.

First Break

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

The remaining 25 players are on their first 10-minute break of the day.

The first two levels of Day 2 has already seen 16 players hit the rail in quick succession.

Blinds: 5,000/10,000

Ante: 1,000

Shi Doubles

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

The action folded around to Weijie Ye in the hijack who raised it up to 22,000 in chips. Ningdan Shi then moved all in for his remaining 43,000 in chips from the button and watched as the blinds deliberated over their decisions before finally folding. Ye made the call and the cards were shown.

Ye: {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}
Shi: {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}

Shi was in trouble against the pair and was in worse shape when the flop came down {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{7-Spades} giving Ye the full house. However, the miracle {4-Diamonds} on the turn gave Shi the higher full house as he dodged a one-outer on the river to take down the double.
