Xixiang Luo has made a big move, to the chip lead, after doubling through Connor Drinan.
Drinan opened to 50,000 from mid position before Luo moved all in for 540,000 from the small blind. Drinan asked for a count but then said, "F*%k it, I'm not folding this."
Drinan:
Luo:
"Easy hold!" said Drinan before the flop fanned to pair up Luo.
Luo started to celebrate and Drinan warned him not to celebrate too early. He soon went quiet when the opened up a flush draw for Drinan but it failed to materialise on the river and Luo went back to celebrating.
Guoliang Wei doesn't mind being out of position and in the blinds as he just won while in the small and big blind.
Zhou Zhou raised to 45,000 from the cutoff and Wei called from the big blind. The flop fell and Wei check-called 35,000 before he led for 50,000 on the turn. Zhou folded.
The next hand, Wei completed from the small blind and Thomas Ward checked his option. The flop came and Wei check-called 35,000. Both players checked the turn before Ward folded to a 35,000 bet on the river.
Thomas Ward opened to 45,000 and Nan Tu was the lone caller. The flop came and Ward bet 55,000, Tu called. The turn was the and both players checked. The river was the and Ward checked again to Tu. This time Tu bet 95,000 and Ward reluctantly called after about a minute.
Qi Luo now (unofficially) holds the record for the quickest call all in in the history of poker.
He opened to 50,000 from under the gun and Xixiang Luo called in the next seat before Sergey Lebedev squeezed to 150,000 off the button. The flop came and the action checked to Lebedev who continued for 150,000. Qi Luo was the only caller to the turn where he checked again.
Lebedev took a moment before announcing that he was all in. Luo was waiting like a coiled spring to hear those words and snap called and slammed down on the table for top full house. Lebedev opened and the river failed to come to his rescue.
Xixiang Luo rasied to 50,000 and Thomas Ward was the lone caller from the big blind. The flop came and Ward checked. Luo bet 60,000 and Ward raised all in for 625,000.
This is the second time Ward has shoved the flop on Luo. This time Luo looked visibly frustrated, almost in pain. He took off his glasses and assumed a prayer-like pose, not unlike the standard pose of Phil Hellmuth. Eventually, Luo flicked his cards away and folded, giving Ward the pot.
This time Connor Drinan was convinced Ward had a flush draw, but didn't offer any money to be proven wrong.
Guoliang Wei has shown a great talent for maneuvering aggressors off hands post flop this final table.
Zhou Zhou opened to 55,000 from under the gun and Wei called to a flop where he called another 50,000. The turn was the and Zhou check-folded to a 75,000 bet.
Zhou Zhou, raised to 50,000 preflop and the action folded to Guoliang Wei. Wei asked to see Zhou's remaining chips and saw he had close to 500,000 behind. Wei reraised to 131,000 and it didn't take Zhou too long to shove all in. Wei called.
Zhou had and Wei had . The board ran out , giving Zhou the double up and leaving Wei with only a little more than 2 big blinds.
