The last day of the 2019 PokerStars Asia Pacific Poker Tour Jeju includes the conclusion of the final ₩6,000,000 High Roller of the festival. Day 2 will start in 1 p.m. (GMT+9) local time, and the 39 total entries have been whittled down to just 13.

The players of Day 2 will have to give a fight to reach the money, as only 6 of them will leave as winners, while the first place place finisher will take the trophy plus ₩70,999,000 (~$61,400) in prize money.

Ye Wang will start with a massive chip lead in Day 2, as he acquired almost double the stack of the second player in the chip counts, Jingxuan Zhu. Among notables still in the field, there are the 2nd and 3rd place finisher of the first High Roller here in Jeju, Hao Tian and Changyang Liu, respectively. Also, the 2019 APPT Jeju Main Event runner-up Yang Zhang will look to hit another big score during this festival.

Always Drawing Dead Against Yang Zhang

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Yang Zhang
Yang Zhang

The 2019 PokerStars APPT Jeju Main Event runner-up Yang Zhang is running hot in the first level of the final High Roller event. As in the previous hand, where Yang Zhang put his money in the middle while his opponent was drawing dead, the same happened when he busted Changyang Liu.

The two players were all in in the turn with the board reading {7-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}. Yang Zhang was holding {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} with quads and Changyang Liu had just {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}. Another river that couldn't change anything with Yang Zhang in the pot, and Changyang Liu is in the rail.

A little bit earlier Haoqi Xie busted too, so the field is left with ten players, playing the final table bubble.

Final Table Set

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Yuan Yilu
Yuan Yilu

Siqi He is the player eliminated in 10th place, bringing the remaining players to the final table. He lost an all in with eights against Yuan Yilu's kings and was left with 22,000, which he shoved from the cutoff shortly afterward. Jingxuan Zhu was in the small blind and called, only to see Yaun Yilu move all in from the big blind.

Jingxuan Zhu folded and the two players opened their cards.

Yuan Yilu: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Siqi He: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}

The board was a roller coaster of emotions with the flop of {q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{9-Clubs} giving some hope to He, providing him a straight draw, minus two outs for Yilu's flush draw. The {8-Diamonds} on the turn was one of them giving a big lead to Siqi He, while Yilu was hunting a club for the flush. The {8-Clubs} was exactly what he wanted to see, and Siqi He departed in 10th place.

Christopher Park Eliminated in 9th Place

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Christopher Park
Christopher Park

Christopher Park was the shortest stack of the table and found a good spot to shove his less than 10 big blinds stack, from middle position. Yang Zhang was two seats on his left, and reraised to 80,000, with Jingxuan Zhu calling from the big blind.

The flop was {a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Yang Zhang continued with a bet, with Jingxuan Zhu quickly folding his hand.

Yang Zhang: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Christopher Park: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

Park was in need of help with only two outs, or runner-runner cards for straight and the turn was the {10-Diamonds}. Jingxuan Zhu exploded, saying that he folded a pair of tens, to chuckles from the rest of the table. The dealer brought the {8-Spades} on the river to complete the board and sent Park to the rail.

Yang Zhang Eliminated in 7th Place

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Yang Zhang
Yang Zhang

There were two or three short stacks in the table, but it wasn't one of them that busted on the bubble. Ye Wang had the lead and kept on pressuring his opponents by shoving many of his hands preflop.

On one of these occasions, he was on the button and shoved again, with Xingbiao Zhu in the small blind and Yang Zhang in the big blind. Zhu folded quickly, but Yang Zhang called even quicker, risking his more than 30-big-blind-stack.

Ye Wang: {k-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Yang Zhang: {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

The flop gave the lead to Wang immediately, falling {7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{k-Hearts}, the {j-Spades} turn added some outs to Yang's hand, but the {4-Spades} on the river wrote the epilogue for Yang Zhang. The runner-up of this festival's Main Event is the bubble boy of the final High Roller, and all remaining players have secured a place in the payouts.

Xingbiao Zhu

XIngbiao Zhu is the first player to bust in the money, and it was in a brutal way. Zhu was in the big blind and was holding the best hand in no limit hold'em when he saw Ye Wang shoving from the small blind. He called and the two players tabled their hands.

Ye Wang: {10-Hearts}{8-Spades}
Xingbiao Zhu: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}

The board ran out {6-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{10-Spades}{10-Clubs} and Zhu hit the rail in 6th place.

Hao Tian

A three-way all in has been the most determining hand of the High Roller so far, resulting in one elimination and one player left crippled.

Ye Wang was on the button and shoved, as he has done many times on the final table. This time, however, both blinds called, with Hao Tian and Liuheng Dai waking up with big hands.

Ye Wang: {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Hao Tian: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Liuheng Dai: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

The board ran out {2-Spades}{3-Spades}{6-Hearts}{k-Spades}{9-Clubs} with Dai scooping the whole pot. When stacks were counted down, Dai had 450,000 and had Hao Tian covered, while Ye Wang was left with only a paltry four big blinds.

In the very next hand, after the previous massive three-way all in, Ye Wang put the rest of his stack in the middle and busted in third place. He had 85,000, and announced all in from the button with both players in the blinds calling.

The board ran out {4-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} with the active players checking all the way to the river. Liuheng Dai scooped this one too, with {q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}, while Ye Wang had {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Jingxuan Dai {k-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}.

Another hand, another cooler situation for the two players in the heads-up battle. This time Liuheng Dai limped from the button, Jingxuan Zhu made it 55,000 from the big blind, Dai re-raised to 125,000, Zhu announced all in and Dai called!

Liuheng Dai: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Jingxuan Zhu: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

The board didn't bring any surprises this time, with {2-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}, and Jingxuan Zhu is eliminated in 2nd place.
