Christopher Park Eliminated in 9th Place

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Christopher Park
Christopher Park

Christopher Park was the shortest stack of the table and found a good spot to shove his less than 10 big blinds stack, from middle position. Yang Zhang was two seats on his left, and reraised to 80,000, with Jingxuan Zhu calling from the big blind.

The flop was {a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Yang Zhang continued with a bet, with Jingxuan Zhu quickly folding his hand.

Yang Zhang: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Christopher Park: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

Park was in need of help with only two outs, or runner-runner cards for straight and the turn was the {10-Diamonds}. Jingxuan Zhu exploded, saying that he folded a pair of tens, to chuckles from the rest of the table. The dealer brought the {8-Spades} on the river to complete the board and sent Park to the rail.

Double Up for Tian

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

During a level that was very quiet, and almost nothing important happened, Hao Tian managed to double up in the last hand of the level. He was in the small blind, and after Yang Zhang's open from the button, he shoved. Yang Zhang called and the two players opened their cards.

Hao Tian: {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Yang Zhang: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}

The board ran out {8-Spades}{10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades}, and Hao Tian found a magic eight on the flop to stay alive. The dealer counted his stack as 130,500, but Yang Zhang still has a big stack behind him.

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Yuan Yilu was left with just seven big blinds, and he put them in the middle from the big blind, after Sahil Chuttani's open from the button.

Sahil Chuttani called with {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and Yilu opened {7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}. The board was {q-Hearts}{5-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Yuan Yilu busted in 8th place.

Hao Tian Forces Unexpected Fold

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

A hand that could have caused Hao Tian's elimination, ended with Xingbiao Zhu folding the best hand. Zhu raised preflop to 15,000 from middle position, with Hao Tian calling from the button and Sahil Chuttani completing from the big blind.

The flop was {10-Spades}{j-Clubs}{a-Clubs} and Zhu bet 33,000 with only Hao Tian calling. The turn brought the {4-Clubs} and Zhu bet 52,000 this time, with Tian calling again.

The {8-Hearts} completed the board on the river and Zhu checked this time, with Hao Tian announcing all in. Zhu didn't think about it for long and folded his cards, while Tian opened {a-Spades}{j-Spades} for two pair.

Zhu said that he folded king-queen, and his cards was still on the table, so he said to the dealer to open them. Indeed, he opened {j-Hearts}{q-Hearts}, and the whole table was left astounded.
