Ysmael Picks up Aces; Busts One

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante
William Ysmael
William Ysmael

William Ysmael was on the cutoff position, and played a three-bet pot versus another player.

The flop came {8-Spades}{q-Spades}{10-Spades}, and Ysmael called his opponent's shove, who was drawing to only one out, or some runner-runner cards.

Ysmael had {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} against his opponent's {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}, and the {5-Spades} on the turn gave the pot to Ysmael. The {4-Diamonds} on the river couldn't change anything, and Ysmael sent his opponent to the rail.

Nguyen Gets Paid in Three Streets

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Duy Tung Nguyen was in the small blind in a three-way pot, and he managed to get paid in three streets by one of his opponents.

The board was {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, and Nguyen bet 4,000, 6,000, and 12,000, respectively, getting three calls by the player in the big blind.

Nguyen tabled {a-Spades}{q-Hearts} for turned trips, and it was enough to give him the pot, as his opponent mucked.

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Two players were already all in, and Duy Tung Nguyen was tanking in a board looking {2-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}. Nguyen finally folded, with Jamie Lee and Meng Long opening their cards.

Jamie Lee: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}
Meng Long: {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

Lee had trips and was behind Long's flush, looking for the river to help him win the pot. The final card of the board was the {10-Diamonds}, and Long doubled up.

Buck Shows Flush

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Kenneth Buck won a pot, in a hand with controversy. A player raised from the cutoff, and Buck was in the big blind. He had his cards on the table with his hands on top of them, and he made a move to push his big blind into the middle, because he thought it was a limp.

In this move he was holding his cards, and his opponent declared that the cards reached far away from him, so it must be considered a fold. The dealer asked for the floor manager, who came and ruled that his hand is still alive, with Buck calling the raise.

The flop came {10-Spades}{2-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, and Buck check-called a bet for 700. The {5-Hearts} came on the turn, and this time Buck led for 2,000 chips.

His opponent folded and Buck showed {3-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for a turned flush.

Gillot and Kang Surging

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

With a quick look in players stacks, two of them have more than 100,000, and can be separated from the rest field. Those are Alexis Gillot's who is the chip leader of Main Event so far, while William Kang is on the rise, in the last hands.

The total players in play right now are 279, and the tables in the main room couldn't fit them, so there are many tables outside of the room, in the cash games area.
