Phua Loses Flip From Gonzales

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante

Si Yang Phua was in a middle position and called a raise for 1,100 chips. The player on the cutoff three-bet to 5,600, and Rundulf Martin Gonzales shoved from the big blind for 26,300.

The initial raiser got out of the way and Phua re-shoved, putting in the middle 32,000 chips. The three-bettor folded quickly and the two players opened their cards.

Phua: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Gonzales: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The board ran out {6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{6-Hearts}, and Gonzales avoided all big cards to double up.

Boccaletti Shows Bluff

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante

Paolo Boccaletti was found all in for 16,500 in the river, with the board showing {8-Spades}{2-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{2-Spades}{j-Spades}. His opponent seemed to have a difficult decision to make as he was tanking for a lot of time.

Two players in the table asked almost simultaneously for the clock, and the floor manager reached the table to count time for the decision. The player folded literally in the last second of the clock, and Boccaletti opened {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}, sounding relieved with the fold of his opponent.

Live Misclick?

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante

Hiroyoshi Yorioka wanted to open to 1,200 but instead of catching a pink T1,000 chip, he grabbed a yellow T5,000 chip. His raise was for 5,200, more than ten big blinds for the current level, and he let the table know that this wasn't his intention.

Lucky for him, no one had a big hand, and everybody folded, with Yorioka opening {a-Spades}{10-Spades}.

Shaham Pays River

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante

Eran Shaham was in the river with the board showing {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{q-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and his opponent bet 6,000 in 15,000 pot.

Shaham called after thirty seconds and mucked when shown the {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} of his opponent.

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

Alex Lee is in the Main Event and is getting close to 100,000 chips. In one of his last hands, he was spotted calling a bet at 2,000, with the board looking {j-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{10-Spades}.

The river was the {a-Spades}, and Lee's opponent bet 5,000, with Lee saying "bad river", but making the call either way. His opponent opened {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}, and Lee took the pot with a straight, opening {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}.

Kim Hits a Two-Outer to Double Up

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

Gab Yong Kim was all in, after a raise to 1,500, a call from Alexis Gillot, and a three-bet from Qinyi Tong. The raiser and Gillot folded, and Tong called the shove for around 20,000 chips, covering his opponent.

Qinyi Tong: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Gab Yong Kim: {3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}

The board ran out {3-Spades}{k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, and Kim found his two-outer on the flop to stay alive. The only thing Tong could do, was take some pictures of the unlucky board with his mobile phone.

A King Sends Song Packing

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante
Liang Song
Liang Song

Liang Song was all-in for 27,500, after his opponent's three-bet to 7,500 chips. The other player called and they opened their cards:

Liang Song: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

The flop was great for Song, with {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} giving him middle set, and leaving his opponent drawing only to a king for a straight.

The {k-Clubs} on the turn was exactly what Song didn't want to see, but he still had outs to win the pot.

The {a-Diamonds} on the river wasn't one of them, and Song said "Nice hand", while he was standing up to leave his seat.
