Yue Triples Up

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Tsun Wai Yue was left with ten big blinds, and was in the button when he saw both the cutoff player, and the button, shove all in before him. Yue didn't hesitate at all, putting his own stack in the middle, and the three players went to showdown.

Tsun Wai Yue: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Cutoff player: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Button player: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

The board ran out {9-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, and Yue managed to avoid all scary overcards to triple up.

Tautvydas Jonikas shoved from the button after an early position open, with the initial raiser calling the shove, to threaten Jonikas stack with a dominant hand.

Tautvydas Jonikas: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
All in player: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{10-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} to give Jonikas a straight on the river, which sent his opponent to the rail, while he basically doubled up his stack.

Chuttani Hands Over Chips in Three-Way All In

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

A player opened to 36,000 and Yap Sen Wong called. Sahil Chuttani then three-bet to 106,000 and Gabriel Remigio moved all in for 102,000.

The initial raiser folded and action was back on Wong.

"You have no idea what I have," said Wong. "Jacks..." he continued before moving all in for 390,000.

"I'm going to need a minute," said Chuttani. "I'm probably going to fold."

"You have 20%, 40%, 50%," said Wong as Chuttani repeatedly asked for exact counts before calling putting both opponents at risk.

Sahil Chuttani: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Yap Sen Wong: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Gabriel Remigio: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

Remigio was ahead and looking to triple, with Chuttani ahead in the side pot. The flop {5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} gave Chuttani a flush draw, and the {2-Hearts} gave him extra straight outs.

However, the river was the {2-Clubs} and he handed over chips to both Remigio and Wong to fall below one million in chips.

No Luck for the Aces

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Aces isn't a good hand apparently, if it can be judged from the last couple of hands in the Main Event.

At first it was Rong Shan Li who shoved from early position with 158,000 chips, holding {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}, to get called by aces. The board came {j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{10-Spades}{a-Spades}{q-Clubs}, and Li found a magic river to double up, while his opponent made a set on the turn.

In another table, it was Mike Takayama who was all in with {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} preflop against his opponent's {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}, only to spike the {3-Clubs}, on the flop, and hold to send him to the rail.

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Patrick Takayuki opened to 32,000 and a player on the button three-bet all in for 210,000. The blinds folded and Takayuki quickly called.

Patrick Takayuki: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
All-in Player: {7-Spades}{2-Diamonds}

The all-in player had decided to make a stand with seven-deuce, but the board ran out {5-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{6-Spades} and he was eliminated.
