Sweden's Phenix Oesterstroem was left on fumes after an all-in showdown with Jun Lai, who has had a few words for his opponent. Lai doubled through Oesterstroem for 80,500 when his A♠6♥ got there versus 9♦9♠ on a board of A♣7♥7♦J♠8♥ as he joined the bigger stacks in the final stages.
Only a few tables remain in the secondary tournament area which currently features Day 1c as well, having entered level three with 188 players out of 200 entries remaining.
Coincidentally, Day 1b is down to the very same 188 players out of 646 entries and the final level of the night is underway.
Kyongrock Moon check-called a hefty bet of 45,000 on the K♣9♣5♦2♦ against Lester Edoc, who then checked behind the Q♠ on the river. Moon revealed his K♦Q♦ for rivered two pair and Edoc checked his cards once more before tossing them into the muck.

The field has been thinned down to around 156 players and they all aim to complete the final seven hands of the night as drawn by current chip leader Florencio Campomanes. His table then broke soon after as even further contenders ran out of chips.
Tae Hoon Chang defended out of the big blind against a cutoff raise by Masahiko Hoshiko and checked the A♠4♥4♦ flop. Hoshiko continued for 5,000 and received a call, which led them to the 2♦ turn. Chang checked once more and the second barrel of Hoshiko for 16,000 won the pot uncontested.
