A players in late position just raised and Masato Yokosawa, the Day 1b chip leader, three-bet from the small blind to 12,000. The action folded back to the initial raiser who moved all in for 36,200 and Yokosawa called.

The board ran out and the ace on the flop gave Yokosawa yet another pot, which ended the aspirations of his opponent.
"As we lose players we'll pull out chairs," APPT President Danny McDonagh just announced as we are down to 45 players. The remaining 45 players are spread out across five tables and all tables will be eight handed after we lose five more players.
Colin Eric Lovelock raised to 4,200 from the button and was immediately followed by the reraise of Juicy Li, in the small blind to 18,000. The big blind folded and Lovelock immediately announced all in. He grimaced when Li made a snap-call showing and was not in love his right then.
The flop came giving Lovelock some hope which he found when the came on the turn. The river sent Li to the rail and Lovelock was stacking her chips.
The day hasn't been too good for Minh Hau Nguyen but a double up just now kept him in action. Nguyen ended up all in before the flop for around 20,000 chips and the showdown we witnessed went as following.

The board ran out and the three on the river gave Nguyen a straight to stay alive.
We approached the table with the face up in front of Stepan Lavrin and the in front of Claudiu Gurau. The river was just dealt and completed a board . Lavrin was visibly upset as he paid off Gurau to the tune of 75,200, leaving only 18,500 behind.
The action folded to Quan Zhou, in the small blind who bet 4,500. The big blind went all in for around 26,000. Zhou had him covered by a lot and made the call. Zhou showed and his opponent tabled . The flop of paired both players but Zhou maintained the lead through the turn and river. His opponent hits the rail and Zhou now has double the average chip stack.
Kelvin Beattie raised to 5,200 and he was three-bet in position by Kevin Petersen to 14,000. The action folded back to Beattie who took quite some time before eventually making the call.
The flop brought out and Beattie check-called 16,000 after, once again, taking his time.
The turn was the and Beattie checked quickly again giving Petersen a chance to keep firing. Petersen decided to do so and put 28,000 into the pot. Beattie tanked for several minutes before finally committing his chips.
On the river the completed the board and Beattie checked quickly a third time. Petersen moved all in after about 10 seconds and his total shove was for 45,900. Another two minutes went by and eventually Beattie pushed his cards towards the dealer.
Petersen won this big hand that took almost 15 minutes to complete and he's now among the biggest stacks in the room.
Elie Yamen just found himself a much needed double up as was down to his final four big blinds. The Australian PokerStars Qualifier ended up all in holding and he was up against Christian Haggert's .
The board ran out and Yamen doubled up, but he's not out of trouble just yet. Haggert meanwhile still sits on a very big stack.
