and was re-raised by Billy Martin who went all in for 21,000 with {A-Clubs}

. Kasbarian made the call and the flop was {9-Clubs}

and Martin needed to see an ace or king. The turn brought the {6-Spades}

and when the {4-Diamonds}

came on the river Martin was heading for the rail. Kasbarian is now sitting pretty with over 65,000 in chips.

Tournament director Danny McDonagh has just informed us that there were 179 entrants to today's Day 1a competition. Of those 179 runners, 162 remain, and a handful of players have still yet to take their seats.

In the event that the missing players do not show up after the first three levels of play, the tournament staff will remove their chips from play and their entry fees would thus be forfeited.

After eliminating "Fossilman," Lei He has continued to accumulate chips, and has just knocked out By Famous in a huge pot. The board read {Q-Spades}

and Famous checked. He bet 5,000 and Famous raised all in for 20,000. He instantly made the call with {A-Diamonds}

and Famous turned over {Q-Hearts}

and was heading for the rail.

Sydney Player Patrick Fletcher Doubles Up
