Celina Lin Eliminated by Grant Levy

In a big pot Mark Vos raised to 1,100 UTG and Grant Levy re-raised to 3,000. Celina Lin then came over the top for 18,000. Vos folded and Levy went into the tank and eventually made the call turning over {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}. Lin tabled {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades} and was in great shape after the flop of {J-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades}, but the turn was the {K-Clubs} leaving Lin with two outs. She couldn't hit the miracle queen and was eliminated.

The "Italian Stallion" Dominating Table 14

The "Italian Stallion" Luigi Apreda has eliminated several players recently from a rowdy table 14. On a board of {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{J-Spades}{5-Spades}, Apreda called an all-in with {6-Spades}{4-Spades} for a runner-runner flush to eliminate his opponent who had slowplayed trip kings. A few hands later, Apreda called another all-in on a board of {6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{4-Hearts} with pocket nines which were too good for his opponent's gutshot straight draw. Apreda is now sitting pretty with over 60,000 in chips.

Scott Flushed

Andrew Scott is down to 30,000 in chips after losing a big pot to an unknown opponent. After raising to 1,500 pre-flop, Andrew was countered by a 5,500 all-in reraise from his opponent. Andrew made the call and tabled {A-Spades}{J-Spades}; his opponent showed {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}.

The flop came {Q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades} giving renewed hope to Scott, who'd flopped the nut flush draw, however, the turn brought the {5-Hearts}, giving Scott's opponent a flush draw.

The last card off the deck was a jack, but it was the one jack Scott didn't want to see as it gave his opponent an ace-high heart flush and the checkmark for the hand.

After losing a big pot to an opponent who tabled two pair, kings and . . . kings (he had quads), Moneymaker is now down to just 7,000 in chips. Chris revealed pocket queens at the showdown.

"I guess you can beat my queens over and over and over again," Moneymaker said after the hand.

When the board came {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs} his aces were looking good. The turn brought the {8-Spades} and Fletcher had sent another player to the rail.

Tino Lechich Takes a Hit

Tino Lechich has had his stack dented by Mark Kassis. The action was three way to the flop with Lechich and Kassis calling the raise to 1,100 pre flop by Mark Vos. The flop was {9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Kassis and Vos both checked. Lechich then fired 1,800 at the pot and was raised to 3,800 by Kassis. This was enough to get rid of Vos, but Lechich made the call. The turn was the {8-Spades} and Kassis fired 8,000 at the pot. Tino went into the tank and eventually made the call. When the {3-Spades} came on the river Kassis again bet 8,000. This time Tino went into tank and folded, taking a massive hit to his stack.

Chris Moneymaker Reacts to His Fate
A short-stacked Chris Moneymaker moved all in before the flop for his last 1,750 in chips and was met by a pair of opponents who challenged for the pot holding pocket jacks and pocket queens respectively.

The board filled out {8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{6-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and the player with pocket queens (who was also short-stacked and all in) took down the pot.

Daniel Macpherson Exits With Chips Left

After calling a 10,000 bet on the river with {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades} on a board of {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{4-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Spades}, his opponent was relieved to find his {A-Spades}{7-Spades} was good. However with a prior appointment to get to, Macpherson had to then exit the event early and has left his remaining 5,000 in chips to be blinded off!
