Jedlicka Crushes Marcus

Niki Jedlicka
Niki Jedlicka
With a short-stacked player all in, Niki Jedlicka bet an additional 2,475 before Van Marcus popped it up another 4,000 on top. Jedlicka made the call and they saw a flop of {J-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}.

Jedlicka moved all in and Marcus made the call.

Jedlicka: {A-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Marcus: {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}
Opponent: {2-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

The turn was the {J-Clubs} and river the {2-Spades} and Jedlicka made the nut flush to eliminate the short stack and leave Marcus crippled.

Jedlicka is now up to a tournament-leading 37,000 chips as play is down to the final three tables.

Obst KO'd by Field

Josh Field
Josh Field
We don't have details of the action, but in a battle of the online young guns, Josh Field has just eliminated James Obst from today's event.

Field now has a healthy stack in front of him to be amongst our chip leaders.

Reina Still Out in Front

Michael Binger has recently eliminated Van Marcus, while Billy "The Croc" Argyros and Harris Pavlou are also recent casualties. For Pavlou, it's his second elimination of the day after he earlier busted out of the Main Event.

Some notable chip counts:

Tony G - 12,225
Joe Reina - 46,200
Jamie Pickering - 8,500
Jason Gray - 35,000
Josh Field - 27,000
Niki Jedlicka - 38,000

Nicolaou Leads

The Pot Limit Omaha with Rebuys event is approaching the dinner break with 16 players still in contention. Some of the players still alive include Tony G, Jamie Pickering, Jason Gray, Chino Rheem, Mark Kassis, Chris Ferguson, Josh Field and Michael Binger.

However they are all chasing Nick Nicolaou who currently leads with around 50,000 chips.

No matter who makes it through this one its going to be a star-studded final table.

Putt Recovers from Short Stack in Sensational Fashion

Graeme Putt
Graeme Putt
Graeme Putt is another player still alive after an incredible multi-way pot. After being all in for his last 1,000 chips, Putt found six callers to get incredible value on his investment.

The flop came down {6-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and the action checked around to Chino Rheem on the button who bet the pot to force a fold from the rest of the table.

Rheem: {2-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Putt: {K-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{J-Spades}

Rheem had flopped the straight but incredibly the turn was the {A-Hearts} and river the {Q-Spades} to make Putt a running broadway straight! He goes from 1,000 to over 7,000 in chips in one hand! Amazing!
