The action is already underway with Grigory Terpelyuk eliminated by James Obst. With some heavy raising preflop, it was Terpelyuk's {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} in bad shape against Obst's {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {3-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} to see Terpelyuk exit in 24th place. He earned a AU$4,043 pay day while Obst moved to 565,000 in chips.

The board fell {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}{A-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} and McIver doubled to 46,000 in chips as Schwartz slipped to 242,000.

Alexander Vercherkovski Eliminated in 22nd Place
Alexander Vercherkovski moved all in for his last 19,300 and Lauren McIver took her time before making the call.

Vercherkovski: {J-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
McIver: {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}

The flop of {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Spades} put a near lock on the hand for McIver, but the {8-Clubs} fell on the turn to give Vercherkovski outs. The {6-Spades} landed on the river though, and sent Vercherkovski to the rail in 22nd place as McIver climbed to 67,000 in chips.
