Warne Chips Up

Defending champ Mark Kassis raised it up to 425 in middle position, Billy "The Croc" called, and Shane Warne reraised to 1350. Kassis made the call and "The Croc" folded.

The players saw a {k-Spades}{8-Clubs}{j-Hearts} flop and Kassis checked to the famed Australian cricketer, who moved all in for about 8,500. The returning champ folded and Warne is now up over 11,000.

Comer KO'd

Martin Comer has fallen victim to Jay "Seabeast" Kinkade.

Comer, Seabeast and a third player went three handed to an {A-Spades}{5-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop for 400 chips a man.

They all checked and the turn was the {8-Diamonds}. The unknown player checked before Seabeast fired out a bet of around 1,000 chips. Comer came over the top all in for about 3,000 chips and it folded back to Kinkade.

After thinking a couple of moments he made the call tabling {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. It would be enough to eliminate Comer's {8-Spades}{5-Diamonds} with the river blanking {6-Spades}.

Obst On The Move

Catching the action on the {7-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} flop, both James Obst and his opponent checked.

On the turn the player in the small blind led out for 500 only to have the young Obst raise it up to 1,500. The player in the small blind moved all-in and Obst made the call.

Obst was in great shape with the {q-Hearts}{8-Clubs} against his opponents {a-Spades}{8-Hearts}. The river was a brick, and Obst is now up to about 6,800.
