Tony Bloom Eliminated in 4th Place ($200,000 AUD)

Tony Bloom - 4th Place
Tony Bloom - 4th Place
Phil Ivey and Tony Bloom saw a flop of {Q-Spades} {J-Spades} {3-Hearts}. Bloom had raised preflop to 60,000 and Ivey called out of the big blind.

After the flop, Ivey checked to Bloom. He bet 120,000 and then Ivey moved all in. Bloom made the call and the hands were revealed.

Ivey held the dominating hand with {Q-Spades} {10-Hearts} to Bloom's {Q-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds}.

The turn brought the {8-Hearts} and now neither player could mke two pair or their opponent would end up with a straight.

The river crd was the {9-Hearts} and just that happened; Ivey made a straight with Bloom making two pair. Ivey won the hand and had Bloom covered, sending him to the rail in 4th place.

It's now official, Ivey is the all-time leading in tournament winnings.

Ivey is up to 1.26 million while Dan Shak has 650,000 and Billy Jordanou 500,000.
