Richard Yong raised to 65,000 from the hijack and a short-stacked Dani Stern, who was crippled the hand before, opted to move all in from the small blind for roughly 200,000. Jason Mo folded from the big blind and Yong made the call.
Stern had woken up with a legitimate hand, but Yong was drawing to two live cards. The flop provided both players gutshot straight draws, but as it was Stern was still ahead with his ace-king. The turn didn't change a thing, but the river did. Yong managed to pair up and Stern was felled in seventh place for AU$400,000.
